As I mentioned yesterday, the autumn foliage along the Hudson this year is quite spectacular, but shades of red are hard to find among the gold and green. This scarcity does have the advantage of making red leaves seem more precious, and as these photos indicate, even on an overcast day, the color is eye-catching and memorable, and well worth seeking out.
